Editing posts
How to update existing posts.
From the dashboard
- Go to Posts and find the post you want to change.
- Click the post to open it. You can edit the text, swap media, or change the target channels.
- Save your changes. If the post was already scheduled, the updated version will be published at the original time unless you change it.
Posts that have already been published to a platform cannot be edited retroactively on that platform, but you can update the AgentReacher copy for future reference.

Ask your AI assistant to update a post:
- “Update my latest draft to mention the discount code SPRING20”
- “Change the scheduled post about the webinar to go out at 2pm instead”
The assistant uses list_posts to find the right post, then update_post to make the changes. Published targets are edited live where the platform supports it; target selection is locked after publish.
